WAMBANGO DAILY NEWS ISSUE 1000 THOUGHT FOR THE DAY : Beware of strangers bearing AK47's STILL ONLY $5 REFUGEES FLEE AS WAR BREAKS OUT From our reporter in Susua   Chaos came today as, without warning, a civil war erupted in Wambango following the unexpected death of President Daniel "Yellow" Banana.   New details emerge regarding the death of President Banana It is reported that there are at least five different factions attempting to seize power.  Among these is the Free Intervention for Democratic Order (FIDO) led by General Hertzog "Hertz" van Rental, who has personally vowed to ensure a speedy return to order.  FIDO's well equipped forces have been described as the dogs b*!!*#k's.   The fighting appears to be solely confined to the north of the country as is evidenced by the steady stream of refugees heading south.  People are fleeing the area as the various factions vie for the control of provinces.  Early reports suggest that no-one has yet moved ahead as the likely successor to the late President Banana.  The fighting is too widespread and confused at this time to determine a leader.     It was revealed late last night that the car crash in which the President was killed involved a military vehicle.  An army spokesman described the vehicle as an all-terrain, general purpose, mobile weapons platform supplied by the generous citizens of the former Soviet Union (T-55). Currently, the reason for the military vehicle being in the back garden of the Presidential Palace has not been revealed.  Official sources still describe the event as a terrible tragedy, which could have happened anywhere.
